ANOHA as a Place of Learning
Jewish Museum Berlin, photo: Yves Sucksdorff
In a former wholesale flower market, the Jewish Museum Berlin has created a place for our youngest guests, children between the ages of three and ten. ANOHA is devoted to the story of Noah’s Ark from the Torah. Young visitors take a hands-on tour of discovery and play.
This tour for professional educators centers on the pedagogical approach and the exhibition’s questions about the Noah’s Ark story, questions that Judaism, Christianity, and Islam have in common. We will also look at the impressive wooden ark structure designed by the US-based Olson Kundig architecture and design practice. The 150 animal sculptures designed by various artists comprise a further highlight of the exhibition. During this interactive guided tour and discussion, we will answer your questions about how you can take advantage of ANOHA as a place of learning for your own groups.
